Vertical signs fall into three families — stable in 2026 (only minor pictogram variants, e.g. alternative wild-boar P-24a):
Danger (P): triangular, red border — warn of a nearby hazard.
Regulation (R): circular, red border (prohibition) or blue background (obligation); priority signs have special shapes.
Information (S): rectangular or square, usually blue — inform; they do not prohibit or oblige.
